Job summary

Roblox Corporation is seeking an IT Support Technician III for onsite daily support in San Mateo, CA. You will independently resolve complex hardware, software, and identity issues, while providing discreet, high-touch support to executives and senior leaders.

You’ll support internal events, Town Halls, and high-visibility experiences, anticipate risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and a smooth builder experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or equivalent technical support role, with ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience providing high-touch technical support to executives or other high-visibility users.
• Hands-on experience supporting company events, meetings, conference rooms, or AV environments using Zoom, Neat, Logitech, or similar hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting across macOS and Windows, with familiarity with ChromeOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Okta, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with endpoint management platforms such as Jamf, Workspace ONE, or similar MDM solutions.
• Ability to identify recurring technical issues and improve processes, docs, tooling, or workflows.
• Experience collaborating across teams to solve cross-functional problems.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to create knowledge articles and runbooks.
• Ability to organize and execute work independently when path forward is not fully defined.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot and own complex hardware, software, identity, connectivity, and endpoint issues.
• Provide high-touch technical support for executives and senior leaders, anticipating needs and minimizing disruptions.
• Support internal events, meetings, and high-visibility experiences with preparation and real-time troubleshooting.
• Identify technical risks before events and coordinate with teams to ensure readiness.
• Improve workflows, tooling, and documentation to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with AV, Facilities, Security, Workplace, Engineering, and other teams to deliver scalable solutions.
