Job summary

Los Angeles Metro seeks a seasoned IT leader to work with the CITO, guiding Metro's Information Technology Services to support operations, mobility, and public engagement.

You will shape strategic plans, oversee infrastructure, security, budgets, and vendor partnerships, and coordinate with senior leadership to deliver innovative, reliable public transit technology. Strong background in public sector IT is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires combination of education and experience; typical pathway includes senior IT leadership in large organizations.
• Education may be substituted by equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM highly preferred for leadership and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership with the CITO for Metro's ITS to meet objectives and improve mobility.
• Lead planning and governance for IT initiatives across departments and with external partners.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, security, budgets, procurements, and vendor contracts.
