Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. seeks a seasoned IT Operating Model and Strategy Advisory Lead to drive the target state design for IT and operations across global regions.

You will govern cross‑regional engagements, build repeatable methodologies, and partner with senior leadership to reduce external dependencies while enabling AI‑driven growth. The role combines internal advisory rigor with executive-level influence, reporting to the Head of the Office of Strategic Advisory.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, target operating model design, and organizational design.
• Demonstrated track record architecting operating models, governance frameworks, and GCC strategies.
• Experience leading complex transformation engagements and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management with CIO authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operating Model & Strategy practice as the center of excellence.
• Design target operating models, governance frameworks, and shared services strategies.
• Develop financial and strategic business cases to support leadership decisions.
• Scope and structure engagements end to end from problem framing to solution design.
• Convene and influence senior stakeholders across regions (MUSO, EMEA, APAC).
