Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Director of Internal Communications to partner with senior executives and shape the firm’s internal narrative. The role leads the Internal Communications team to craft a cohesive strategy, leveraging technology to improve quality and speed of output.

You will develop multi-format content and metrics, and align messaging across intranets, town halls, emails, and video messages to support firm priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years developing strategy and producing high-quality internal communications.
• Experience with C-suite or senior leaders in complex global organizations.
• Proven success guiding large organizational changes and initiatives.
• Background in journalism, PR, marketing, executive communications, or corporate comms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage internal communications aligned with business objectives and culture.
• Lead a sophisticated internal communications team and evolve the strategy.
• Develop narratives, messaging frameworks, and campaigns to support firm priorities.
• Advise partners and leaders on strategic communications planning and engagement.
• Align messaging across internal and external channels with PR and Marketing.
