Job summary

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in law, compliance, public administration, public policy, accounting/finance, business, or closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investigations, audits, or accountability/compliance.
  • Leadership experience: at least 4 years managing professional staff or leading a major program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead independent investigations, inspections, and oversight of fraud, waste, abuse, procurement irregularities, and asset misuse.
  • Establish and manage a fraud-reporting hotline and intake mechanisms for employees, vendors, and the public; triage and coordinate responses.
  • Conduct proactive risk inspections across contracts, grants, procurements, and programs; exercise subpoena power as needed.
  • Advise Council and officials on fraud-risk management and policy decisions; communicate findings clearly in public reports and briefings.
  • Develop and implement internal policies, case management standards, and annual work plans; manage budgets and external relations.
