Job summary

Conner Strong & Buckelew seeks an AVP, Infrastructure Management to lead design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of enterprise infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. This senior role requires Azure expertise and deep knowledge across networking, security, virtualization, and automation.

You will drive roadmaps, budgeting, vendor management, and operational continuity while mentoring infrastructure staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in infrastructure, including senior leadership roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional hybrid infrastructure initiatives with strong planning and risk management.
• Excellent communication for presenting architecture decisions and investment recommendations.
• Regulated-industry experience and certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Translate business objectives into roadmaps, standards, and operating procedures.
• Oversee Azure and on-premises environments, security, cost, and governance.
• Direct projects from planning to handoff, ensuring high service availability.
• Advance cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity in partnership with stakeholders.
• Drive IaC, automation, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure engineering practices.
• Mentor staff and evaluate vendors/tech for infrastructure readiness.
