Job summary

NIQ is seeking an Executive, Industry Insights to serve as a category expert and deliver actionable insights using NIQ data and tools. You will help clients make informed business decisions by analyzing category performance and market trends, while presenting clear stories and recommendations.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges, translate complex data into compelling visuals and narratives, and support growth by showcasing NIQ solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Curious and inquisitive mindset with a passion for transforming data into meaningful business stories and insights.
  • Strong analytical thinking and excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language proficiency may be required in certain markets.
  • Digitally savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new concepts, analytical methodologies, and business processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
  • For CPS markets, willingness to develop expertise across both CPS and RMS data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Use NIQ tools, data, and metrics to answer client business questions and provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze retail measurement and other NIQ datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business recommendations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client businesses, categories, and market dynamics to deliver relevant insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and determine the most appropriate analytical approach.
  • Ask probing and clarifying questions during project briefings to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories, visualizations, and presentations that support business decisions.
  • Prepare and present ad hoc analyses, reports, and category performance reviews.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities to introduce NIQ products and solutions to clients.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and elevate project risks, issues, and roadblocks.
  • Contribute to business issue analyses, thought leadership projects, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Ensure project briefs are complete and actionable, seeking clarification from clients or internal teams when required.
  • Collaborate effectively with in-market and hub teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.

Job Summary

As an Executive, Industry Insights you will serve as a category expert with the primary goal of delighting clients by delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
