Job summary

QXO is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead enterprise-aligned people strategy across the Southeast Division and 100+ locations. You will partner with senior executives to translate business priorities into workforce initiatives that drive growth, performance, and operational excellence.

You will shape talent strategy, succession planning, culture transformation, and risk mitigation while guiding regional HR operations and governance. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership with regional or multi-site oversight.
• Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed workforces (100+ locations).
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR or equivalent senior-level certification preferred.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior HR advisor to Southeast Division leadership and executives.
• Develop and execute a multi-year divisional people strategy aligned to enterprise goals.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and leadership development.
• Drive large-scale change initiatives including restructurings and acquisitions.
• Oversee risk mitigation, governance, compliance, and executive communications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
