Job summary
Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the executive leadership team. This hands-on leader will align people strategies with business goals, partnering directly with the CEO/President and plant leadership in a 24/7 unionized manufacturing setting near Pittsburgh.
The role balances strategic HR governance with day-to-day operations, including benefits, labor relations, workforce planning, and policy development.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in HR management.
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment with CBA administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations (NLRB, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and partner across functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession initiatives.
- Oversee comprehensive employee benefits portfolio and retirement plans.
- Manage labor relations, grievance handling, and labor negotiations support.
- Administer HR policies, training, compliance, and HRIS improvements.
- Coordinate safety, attendance, return-to-work programs, and records.
- Prepare HR reporting and collaborate with board and senior leadership.
