Job summary

City of Hope seeks an Executive Director, HR to shape the people strategy and deliver business outcomes, while guiding entity Presidents and leaders toward talent, engagement, and organization solutions that strengthen culture and patient outcomes.

The role partners with executive leaders to align talent strategy, workforce planning, organization design, change management, and labor strategy, enabling growth and operational excellence across a large, integrated system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
• At least 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• At least 10 years in a people leader role.
• JD or HR Investigator certification preferred.
• SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior HR strategic partner to executives at the entity level.
• Translate business strategies into organization design, workforce planning/effectiveness, and culture priorities.
• Develop HR strategies that reflect the business needs of the entity and a system mindset.
• Lead strategic workforce planning and organizational capability building for growth and performance.
• Drive transformation and labor strategy in line with system HR objectives.
