City of Hope seeks an Executive Director, HR to shape the people strategy and deliver business outcomes, while guiding entity Presidents and leaders toward talent, engagement, and organization solutions that strengthen culture and patient outcomes.
The role partners with executive leaders to align talent strategy, workforce planning, organization design, change management, and labor strategy, enabling growth and operational excellence across a large, integrated system.

The successful candidate: The Executive Director, HR, serves as an executive leader responsible for shaping the people strategy to deliver business outcomes, while also leading entity-wide initiatives. This role provides strategic guidance, executive coaching, and organization leadership to Entity Presidents, and operational leaders, building talent, engagement, and organization solutions that strengthen culture, enhance patient outcomes, and support City of Hope’s long-term strategies. As a trusted advisor to entity executives and a key contributor to system-level HR strategy, the Executive Director HR, partners closely with executive leaders and key partners across the human resources function to align talent strategy, workforce planning and effectiveness, organization design, change management, labor strategy, and engagement. This is an influential, high visibility role responsible for enabling growth, integration, and operational excellence while contributing to system HR transformation initiatives.
