Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, coordinate staff in assigned sections, and assume Executive Housekeeper duties in their absence. The role emphasizes education of room attendants on standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

The candidate will supervise laundry and housekeeping teams, perform room inspections, maintain inventory and key controls, and respond to guest requests promptly while upholding health and sanitation

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• One to two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all laundry and housekeeping staff members and hold them accountable for performance.
• Inspect daily room cleaning, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure brand standards are met.
• Conduct daily room inspections and ensure VIP and loyalty member rooms are ready by check-in time.
• Provide training, coaching and feedback to housekeeping staff to maximize efficiency.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure rooms are not released until items are addressed.
