Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a 4-year college degree, or a 2-year degree with 1+ years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Effective verbal and written communication with staff and guests.
• Able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Housekeeping operation, ensuring a clean, safe environment for guests.
• Respond to guest requests, problems, and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Coach, counsel and discipline housekeeping staff per SOPs.
• Maintain training standards and conduct interviews accordingly.
• Inspect rooms daily and coordinate with supervisors.
• Prepare employee schedules and manage payroll-related data.
• Manage purchases and inventory of housekeeping supplies.
