Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, VA seeks an experienced Housekeeping Leader for the Williamsburg Lodge. You will oversee operations, coach managers and staff, and uphold high cleanliness and service standards across guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires 8–10 years in housekeeping leadership, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong financial and safety discipline. Regular schedule with potential weekend shifts and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive housekeeping leadership.
• Demonstrated success in housekeeping operations, labor management, expense control, cleanliness standards, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the Williamsburg Lodge Housekeeping.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop Housekeeping Managers, Supervisors, Room Attendants, and other staff.
• Maintain high standards of guest room and public area cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Establish daily operating expectations and hold leaders and associates accountable.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering on room status, VIPs, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor productivity, staffing levels, occupancy forecasts, and departmental performance.
• Manage labor to budget and controls to minimize overtime and waste.
• Develop SOPs and ensure training, safety, and performance coaching.
