Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation's Williamsburg Lodge is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented housekeeper to prepare guest rooms and maintain public areas in a historic hotel setting. You will stock rooms, arrange furnishings, and ensure guests receive needed amenities, with emphasis on cleanliness and courtesy.

Must have 6 months to 1 year housekeeping experience, be able to work all shifts, and possess a valid Virginia driver's license.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year housekeeping experience.
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• May require a 5-year Motor Vehicle Record prior to employment and driving eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist Room Attendants to clean and prepare guest rooms per Williamsburg Lodge standards.
• Stock guest rooms with towels, linens, furnishings and other supplies.
• Keep public areas around carts clean.
• Rearrange furniture as needed.
• Ensure guests receive appropriate amenities and perform other duties as required.
