Job summary

The Berkeley Hotel Richmond is seeking an Assistant General Manager / Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department and support overall hotel operations in downtown Richmond. This hands-on leadership role combines executive housekeeping duties with general management responsibilities, reporting to the General Manager and working with departments to maintain the property’s luxury standards.

Ideal candidates will have prior AGM or executive housekeeping experience, Hilton experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar hotel leadership position.
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping operations and room-cleaning standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Establish and maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Develop staffing plans and manage scheduling and budgeting.
• Provide leadership and support to other departments as needed.
• Assist the General Manager with day-to-day hotel operations.
