This position involves overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations to maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and train housekeeping staff
2. Establish standards and procedures for housekeeping work
3. Ensure all rooms meet company standards for cleanliness and maintenance
4. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the establishment, including VIP rooms
5. Manage inventory and supplies, conduct monthly inventories, and order supplies as needed
6. Direct and motivate housekeeping staff, providing coaching and guidance
7. Plan work schedules and daily assignments based on occupancy and labor standards
8. Maintain departmental finances, including budgeting and cost control, and prepare reports
9. Coordinate repairs, renovations, and space reallocation with relevant departments
10. Enforce procedures for guest lost and found items
11. Ensure proper use and labeling of chemicals and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety protocols
12. Evaluate and recommend improvements for furniture, fixtures, and decor

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar applications
• Experience leading housekeeping teams preferred
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively
