Job summary

Commonwealth Hotels is hiring an experienced Hotel Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping and laundry team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton South. The role focuses on maintaining Marriott brand standards and driving guest satisfaction.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance, while managing budgets and inventory. A strong leader with PMS experience and willingness to work weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel housekeeping supervisor or Executive Housekeeper experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, inventory control, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Experience with hotel PMS and housekeeping systems is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and motivate the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, corridors, and the lobby to meet Marriott brand and Commonwealth Hotels standards.
• Manage daily room assignments and keep rooms ready on time.
• Control labor costs, supply costs, and inventory to meet budget goals.
• Order and manage cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
• Hire, coach, evaluate, and develop team members, and handle performance and discipline when needed.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and complaints to keep guest satisfaction scores high.
• Work with the front desk, maintenance, and general manager to keep rooms in service.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, OSHA, and chemical handling procedures.
• Monitor deep cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance of rooms and equipment.
• Support guest satisfaction (Marriott GSS) and cleanliness scores.
• Step in and clean rooms when needed to support the team.
