Job summary

Rainmaker Hospitality is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness standards. This role drives guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence through hands-on leadership and strategic oversight.

You will oversee daily operations, manage staffing and inventory, and collaborate with the General Manager and Maintenance to address room readiness and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment.
• Hyatt or select-service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and labor controls.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, inspections, laundry production, and public area cleanliness.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping team members to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Prepare staffing schedules based on occupancy forecasts and labor guidelines.
• Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards.
• Manage inventory levels for linens, supplies, chemicals, and equipment; place orders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records for payroll, scheduling, performance evaluations, and departmental reporting.
• Partner with the General Manager and Maintenance team to address room readiness, deficiencies, and preventive maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns related to cleanliness or room condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and OSHA regulations.
• Support propertywide initiatives, including renovation readiness, brand audits, and guest satisfaction goals.
