Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for a DoubleTree by Hilton property in the Galleria area. This hands-on leadership role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations and drive guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, enforcing standards, managing budgets and labor, and ensuring compliance with brand cleanliness requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of housekeeping management experience in a full-service hotel.
• AM, mid-shift, PM, weekends and holidays availability.
• English verbal and written communication required; Spanish a plus or bilingual capability.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of daily housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Interview, hire, train, and support housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Enforce policies, supervise performance and accountability.
• Manage department finances, budget, inventory, and labor.
• Review guest surveys and address feedback to improve cleanliness.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, lobby and staff areas to uphold standards.

DoubleTree Hotel & Suites by the Galleria, located in the upscale Galleria area is looking for an experienced, hands on Executive Housekeeper with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Required Skills and Abilities

• At least four (4) years of previous full-service hotel housekeeping management experience required.
• Flexible to work AM, mid-shift, PM, weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively address and resolve employee and guest related issues.
• Previous Hilton brand experience highly desired.

Job Description

• Hands on management to manage daily operations for housekeeping and laundry.
• Interview, hire, train, and provide open communication and support for all housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Enforce policies and procedures and hold staff accountable when performance expectations are not being met.
• Manage department finances, including budget, inventory and labor.
• Review guest surveys, respond to unfavorable feedback and implement strategic plans to exceed brand cleanliness requirements.
• Inspect building cleanliness including guest rooms, corridors, guest lobby and employee areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
