Newport Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage housekeeping operations across guestrooms and public spaces. You will supervise staff, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure safety while delivering a welcoming guest experience.
In this role you will train and motivate the team, manage inventory and schedules, and assist other departments during peak times to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What does a day in the life of an Executive Housekeeper look like in hospitality?
It starts early — reviewing arrivals, departures, VIP rooms, staffing, and preparing your team for the day ahead. In hospitality, cleanliness is more than appearance; it shapes the entire guest experience. As Executive Housekeeper, you help set the tone for every stay by ensuring guestrooms and public spaces are clean, organized, safe, and ready to welcome guests.
Throughout the day, you’ll lead and support your housekeeping team, inspect rooms, manage supplies, coordinate schedules, and jump in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly. Some days are fast-paced with back-to-back arrivals and special requests, while others focus on training, organization, and improving efficiency behind the scenes. You may also assist the front desk or guest services during busy periods, helping deliver a seamless guest experience across departments.
At Newport Hospitality Group, we believe in Living Hospitality — creating an environment where both guests and team members feel supported and valued. We’re looking for leaders who take pride in their work, lead by example, and understand the importance of teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
