Job summary

Hyatt Place Bloomington, IN is seeking a friendly and experienced supervisor to oversee housekeeping and laundry staff. You will manage inventory, guest supplies, scheduling, and assign housekeeping work while ensuring clean, welcoming rooms and public areas.

As Executive Housekeeper, you will hire, train, and interview potential candidates, develop staffing plans, and uphold service standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences at Hyatt Place Bloomington.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong guest service skills and customer focus.
• Good communication with guests, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the housekeeping team, providing guidance and work assignments
• Provide support and fill in when necessary
• Hire and train new members of the team
• Deliver items to guest rooms as needed such as towels, extra pillows, supplies, and respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner
• Work in a team environment and assist and support all members of the team to ensure a great hotel stay experience for the guests

• Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds.
• Strong Guest Service skills
• Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented
