Job summary

Lifepoint Health seeks a transformative Chief Executive Officer to lead our hospital network, defining vision, strategy, and operational direction to deliver clinical excellence and strong financial performance.

The CEO will build a high‑performing management team, oversee governance and regulatory compliance, and strengthen physician and partner relationships in alignment with the Board-approved plan for nationwide community health impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of healthcare management experience; rehabilitation hospital experience preferred.
• Familiarity with med-surg hospitals and regulatory/accreditation requirements (Joint Commission, CARF).
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.
• Design, develop, and implement the strategic plan with the Board; translate strategy into measurable objectives.
• Establish robust operational controls, reporting systems, and performance dashboards.
• Oversee financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Recruit, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performance management team and provider partners.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with all regulations and accreditation standards.
