LiveWork is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR across multiple health center locations. The role reports to the CEO and drives HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development in a California healthcare context.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive California employment law expertise, strong employee relations experience, and a proven ability to lead HR operations in a complex, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years leading an HR function.
• Extensive California employment law expertise and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience leading HR operations across multi-site environments.
• Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies with executive leadership.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
• Lead and develop the HR team, with clear expectations and performance standards.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and development across multiple locations and departments.
• Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Manage compensation structures, HR systems, and workforce reporting.
