Job summary

Medici in Austin is seeking a Clinical Assistant / Medical Assistant to support patient care during the Executive Health Exam experience. You will work with our RN and Physician to assist with intake, vitals, documentation, and clinical workflows.

This part-time position runs 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM CT, at the Austin clinic. Candidate may be a Medical Assistant student or graduate with a patient-facing background.

Qualifications

• Candidate pursuing healthcare-related degree or Medical Assistant program.
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the Executive Health Assessment and explain steps clearly.
• Support patient flow and maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Obtain vitals, assist with intake, measurements, and documentation.
• Assist with blood draws and specimen processing as qualified.
• Prepare patients for DEXA scans and support AI-enabled skin analysis.
• Perform or assist with vision and hearing testing and functional fitness evaluations.
• Document procedures in the EMR and coordinate with RN/physician.
• Maintain clean, stocked clinical spaces and turnover rooms between patients.
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety protocols.
• Support peptide workflow and other clinic operations as needed.
