Job summary

Peraton is seeking an expert Technical Editor to provide mission-critical editorial and production support for a high-visibility customer. The editor will refine complex analytic content into accurate, polished products for senior executives, with IC standards and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; 10 years with an MS/MA Degree or 7 years with a PhD.
• 4 years experience may be used in lieu of degree.
• Expert-level proficiency in technical writing and editing with strong knowledge of IC standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical editing for analytic products, ensuring accuracy and IC standards.
• Review and edit draft materials for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and style.
• Coordinate editing with authors and stakeholders to strengthen content and messaging.
• Prepare final deliverables in Word and PDF; coordinate dissemination.
• Mentor personnel to improve writing and editing skills.
• Ensure all products adhere to applicable standards and production processes.
