Merck is seeking an Executive Director, Global Oncology – Lung Cancer, to define and execute the global commercial strategy for the Lung cancer portfolio. This role partners with senior stakeholders to translate scientific advances into differentiated value and drives alignment across regions and functions.

The candidate will lead a high-performing team, shape portfolio strategy, and oversee forecasting, market access, and regulatory considerations in a dynamic, regulated global market.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles with at least 3 years in Oncology Marketing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in global marketing roles (global brand/portfolio).
• Experience leading strategy development, portfolio/brand planning, and execution in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the global Lung Cancer strategy.
• Define end-to-end global commercial strategy for current and future Lung indications.
• Translate science and clinical data into differentiated value propositions for Lung cancers.
• Drive global sales forecast guidance in collaboration with Asset Teams and Finance.
• Lead cross-functional, cross-regional alignment on planning assumptions.
• Collaborate with Global Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical, HEOR, Manufacturing, IP/Legal, CI, and Finance to build Lung strategies.
