Luse Contracting Group is seeking a General Manager to lead its Wisconsin operations, including Milwaukee and Madison markets. You will own performance, drive business development, estimating, project execution, and financial results, while guiding a high-performing team within a fifth-generation family business.

Lead with entrepreneurial drive, financial discipline, and a commitment to lifting people and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in mechanical insulation or related construction.
• Proven leadership of profitable construction operations with P&L experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of estimating, job cost controls, project forecasting, contract administration, and operational risk.
• Proven ability to build and lead accountable teams, develop talent, and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead profitable growth of Wisconsin business by developing lasting customer relationships, pursuing opportunities, and building a sustainable backlog.
• Oversee estimating, bid strategy, and contract negotiations with disciplined pricing and risk assessment.
• Drive operational excellence with rigorous planning, cost management, scheduling, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure adherence to processes, safety requirements, and strong documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Own the Wisconsin operation's P&L, monitor forecasts, costs to complete, and profitability.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team; foster trust, respect, and accountability; pursue continuous improvement.
