Job summary

Tavistock Restaurant Collection in Lake Nona, Orlando, FL is seeking a General Manager to lead a vibrant full-service restaurant as a true community destination. You will oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, drive guest satisfaction, and guide a talented team to deliver consistent service.

The role emphasizes P&L management, staff development, and collaboration with culinary leadership to execute menu changes and promotions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, including at least 3 years as a General Manager or equivalent leader in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Demonstrated success managing P&L performance, labor, cost of goods, and operational budgets.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and retain strong restaurant teams.
• Experience with restaurant openings, major relaunches, lifestyle centers, destination dining, or resort environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all front-of-house and overall restaurant operations, ensuring excellent service, quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by actively engaging with guests, resolving concerns, and driving repeat business.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team of managers and hourly team members.
• Manage restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, cost of goods, controllable expenses, budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators—including sales, check average, labor, guest feedback, and operational execution—and develop action plans to achieve goals.
• Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to deliver seamless service, execute menu changes, and support promotions and events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable health, safety, alcohol-service, and sanitation requirements.
• Build relationships within the Lake Nona community and support local marketing, events, and brand initiatives.
• Develop future leaders through consistent coaching, feedback, recognition, and succession planning.
