Roadrunner Venture Studios is seeking an Executive/Founder in Residence (EIR/FIR), Advanced Energy, to identify and launch new ventures at the intersection of energy infrastructure, power generation, and rising electricity demand.

The role combines finance, strategy, and deal-structuring to move concepts from thesis to bankable ventures, with focus on hyperscalers, data centers, and large-load customers seeking reliable power.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in energy project development and project finance.
• Direct experience financing energy infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of PPAs and other offtake structures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities across power generation, energy infrastructure, grid services, and large-load energy markets.
• Build and evaluate financing structures for capital-intensive energy projects.
• Develop commercial models for selling power through PPAs and other contracts.
• Engage hyperscalers, data centers, utilities, and large energy buyers to understand their needs.
• Translate concepts into bankable projects attractive to customers, lenders, and partners.
