Job summary

Athens Services is seeking a Vice President of Fleet Strategy, Maintenance & Capital Planning to lead end-to-end fleet performance and asset lifecycle. The role directs maintenance, reliability, and capital investment, coordinating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize uptime, safety, and cost efficiency. Strong leadership and strategic vision are essential for driving modernization and sustainable asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Logistics, Operations.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in fleet maintenance, fleet operations, or asset management.
• Proven success leading large-scale maintenance and reliability programs with capital investments.
• Strong technical and financial acumen, including budgets and P&L responsibility.
• Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, and service partners on specifications and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long-term fleet strategy and capital plan.
• Lead maintenance operations across multiple sites to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Set maintenance standards, KPIs, SOPs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage annual maintenance budgets and fleet capital plans; monitor expenditures and savings.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all locations.
