Job summary

igus Bearings, Inc. in Rumford, RI is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead all finance functions—accounting, tax, compliance, audit, analytics, treasury, and contract review—and to partner with the CEO and North America Leadership Team to drive profitable growth.

This hands-on role requires strategic leadership, data-driven decision making, internal controls, and the deployment of BI and ERP solutions to improve performance across Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading multi-functional finance organizations.
• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience supporting high-growth and globally connected organizations preferred.
• Proven track record of strategic leadership and business partnership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic financial advisor to the President & CEO and Leadership Team.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term objectives.
• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory accounting, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, contract review, and legal compliance activities.
• Lead the use of business intelligence, ERP, analytics, automation, and AI solutions to enhance decision making.
• Partner with functional leaders across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Technology to improve performance with data-based decisions.
• Establish scalable reporting, data governance, and data integrity practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
