Wadhwani Foundation is seeking an accomplished Director, Finance and HR to launch and lead the U.S. Finance and HR functions for WOF and WCF. The role oversees financial planning, accounting, treasury, audits, and people strategy across two U.S.

entities, reporting to senior leadership and working with Boards and Family Office. The ideal candidate combines deep financial governance with strategic HR leadership, cross-border exposure, and executive presence, willing to travel internationally as

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership in foundations, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations.
• Deep expertise in financial planning, accounting, controls, audit, treasury and governance.
• Experience supporting grant-making or donor-funded programs.
• Proven ability to build scalable financial systems across multiple entities and geographies.
• MBA or professional finance credentials preferred (CPA/CFA).

Responsabilités

• Lead annual and multi-year financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for two U.S. entities.
• Oversee accounting, controls, audits, and financial governance; manage treasury and risk.
• Lead HR strategy and operations, workforce planning, compensation and leadership development.
• Partner with Boards, Family Office, and executives on financial stewardship and organizational effectiveness.
