Job summary

The Wadhwani Foundation seeks a senior, strategic program executive to serve as its inaugural Vice President – Global Programs & Grants Management. This role leads the Wadhwani Operating Foundation and supervises grant governance for the Wadhwani Charitable Foundation, driving global program strategy and outcomes.

Remote position based in the United States with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay area. Travel domestically and internationally required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership in global philanthropy or large-scale program operations.
• Experience in technology and AI considerations for program design.
• Demonstrated multi-country program/grant portfolio leadership with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global program strategy, performance, and grant governance across WOF and WCF.
• Establish MEL systems, KPIs and dashboards to monitor outcomes and impact.
• Prepare integrated program and grant reviews for the Board and senior leadership.
• Provide evidence-based funding recommendations and risk assessments.
