Job summary

Wadhwani Foundation seeks an accomplished Director, Finance and HR to lead the financial planning, accounting, treasury, audits, and HR for its U.S. entities.

The role builds infrastructure for a growing philanthropic enterprise and partners with senior leadership on strategy and risk. The ideal candidate has extensive foundation/ nonprofit finance experience, strong people leadership, and a record of scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in foundation/nonprofit or similar complex orgs.
• Experience building scalable financial systems across multiple entities/geographies.
• Proven HR/people strategy leadership and inclusive team building.
• CPA/CA/CPA/MBA with finance concentration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and governance for two US entities.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, audits and financial controls.
• Partner with Boards, CEO and family office on strategy and risk.
• Lead HR strategy, recruiting, compensation, performance and leadership development.
