Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Finance Director for our Commercial Aircraft group in Buffalo, NY. This onsite role leads the finance organization, delivering accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial guidance to leadership.

The candidate will manage end-to-end financials, drive cost optimization, and mentor a high-performing team. 15+ years in accounting/finance and relocation to East Aurora, NY are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA/CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 10+ years of leading finance teams.
• Experience with ASC 606 and complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Finance business partnership to enable division strategy with robust financial modeling.
• Executive reporting of financial results to the CAG Executive Team.
• Lead end-to-end financial accountability: Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow; budgeting, forecasting, cost management.
• Oversee capital investment planning, ROI analysis, and audit support.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve working capital.
