ASHP Executive Fellowship is a paid 12-month program housed at the ASHP Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, offering hands-on training in not-for-profit association leadership and management. Fellows will support, coordinate, and implement projects and strategic initiatives impacting the association and the profession of pharmacy.

This is a hybrid position in the Washington, DC area with relocation assistance; successful candidates will work onsite in Bethesda, MD 3 days per week and may have

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in a U.S. state or territory.
• ASHP-accredited residency preferred.
• Strong involvement as a volunteer leader.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• High motivation, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
• Self-starter with a desire to learn.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Foundational understanding of pharmacy practice issues.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications and web literature search.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate, and implement projects and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with ASHP's Strategic Planning Retreat and governance activities.
