Job summary

The FUSE Executive Fellow will join San Francisco’s Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing to strengthen internal systems that coordinate housing and care services. The work will align planning, performance, and programs, clarify roles, and design a sustainable operating model to improve access, equity, and efficiency for residents experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in organizational transformation and change management.
• Ability to develop strategic plans and operational workflows.
• Proven track record synthesizing complex information into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead listening tours and landscape analysis across divisions within HSH.
• Define and implement a clear operating model with roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
• Design standardized tools, templates, and project management processes to support execution.
• Pilot improvements in collaboration with staff and leadership across departments.
