Job summary

Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living in Novi, Michigan, seeks a Director of Food and Beverage to lead eleven themed restaurants and cafés and oversee multi-unit dining operations. The role emphasizes food quality, hospitality standards, and resident satisfaction, with a strong focus on strategic leadership and financial acumen.

You will mentor a dynamic dining team, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance, while driving continuous improvement and growth as the community expands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of restaurant or food service management including production, service, sanitation, and training.
• Serve Safe Certification obtained within 6 months of employment; additional certifications required by federal, state, and/or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members through training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high operational performance.
• Manage departmental finances including budgeting, cost control, and fiscal accountability (meal, labor, and food costs).
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain systems for cost control.
• Track performance through monthly operating reports and drive progress toward financial goals.
• Continuously evaluate operations, programs, training, purchasing, and personnel to maintain excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Analyze resident satisfaction and implement action plans to enhance the dining experience.
