Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an Executive Events Experience Specialist to plan and execute customer events at the Somerset, NJ location. The role requires onsite presence a minimum of three days per week and close collaboration with the Executive Briefing Center team.

You will coordinate travel, catering, venues, AV, and speaker logistics, manage budgets, and partner with Marketing and Sales for large events. Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2-3+ years of event planning or catering in a corporate setting.
• 2-4 years of experience with sales organizations and/or senior executives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using Concur or travel carrier tools (JetBlue, United).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for customer events including travel, lodging, locations, catering, and transportation.
• Schedule integration tours at SHI facilities and coordinate AV and speaker needs.
• Define and execute program goals with cross-functional teams and manage timelines.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage budgets and expenses.
• Lead planning meetings and provide hands-on support during events.
• Maintain master tracking reports and provide ROI data.
