The Dinex Group is seeking an experienced Event Chef to lead culinary operations for a premier fine-dining event venue in New York City. The ideal candidate will drive menus, uphold fine-dining standards, and supervise a large kitchen team during high-volume events.

You will collaborate with management, review BEOs, production schedules, and dietary requests; mentor staff; control food costs; ensure sanitation and safety; and maintain exceptional quality from prep to service.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional culinary experience in fine dining or luxury events.
• Experience in executive leadership roles such as Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
• Strong New York City culinary experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience executing large-scale events and banquet service.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume operations while maintaining fine-dining standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day culinary operations for a high-end event venue with the Executive Chef and management.
• Execute sophisticated, fine-dining menus while ensuring consistency and presentation for large events.
• Manage multiple events and priorities with composure and attention to detail.
• Supervise large culinary teams including sous chefs, line cooks, pastry, and stewarding staff.
• Collaborate with events and operations teams to meet client expectations and specifications.
• Review BEOs, menus, schedules, staffing and special dietary requests.
• Develop production plans and ensure prep is completed on time.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, flavor, temperature, and presentation.
