Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical or related field).
• Professional licensure in Architecture or Engineering (California preferred).
• 15+ years in workplace strategy, real estate, interior design/engineering with change management.
• 5+ years direct line management of design teams.
• Experience leading client-facing multi-year strategic initiatives.
• Experience with large project portfolios and budgets; cost savings.
• Biotech/pharma familiarity and cGMP knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise workplace strategy and design vision for the SSF campus and related sites.
• Build, lead, and inspire the integrated Workplace Strategy & Design Studio.
• Provide strategic direction to interior architecture and lab/technical design teams.
• Translate culture, brand, and mission into the physical environment through placemaking and art.
• Advise major business units translating strategies into multi-year space plans.
• Oversee technical standards and guidelines across sites.
• Lead change initiatives on workplace transformation and hybrid work with high adoption.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.

Professional licensure in Architecture or Engineering (CA preferred).
