Job summary

Safelite is seeking an AVP to lead US Infrastructure & Operations, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing services for a distributed workforce. You will own Service Desk, Cloud & Hosted Infrastructure, Network, and Heritage Systems, while driving modernization, cybersecurity alignment, and disaster recovery across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

You will manage leaders and engineers, set strategy, budgets, and vendor partnerships, ensuring uptime and resilience for nationwide operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years IT experience with leadership of infrastructure/operations teams; 5+ years of people leadership.
Deep hands-on expertise across network, cloud, server, storage, virtualization, and endpoint domains.
Proven ability to develop and execute infrastructure plans, budgets, and vendor delivery.
ITIL v4 and cloud certifications; experience with hybrid cloud and modern workplace tech.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations for US Infrastructure & Operations across Cloud, Networking, Service Desk, and Heritage Systems.
Provide hands-on engineering leadership for network, cloud, data center, server/storage, and endpoint engineering.
Lead incident, problem, and change management; drive MTTR improvements and reliability.
Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement in infrastructure operations.
Represent US I&O in cross-functional planning and governance forums.
