Job summary

Valley Children’s Advocacy Center is seeking an Executive Director to lead a fully accredited organization with a dedicated staff, strong community partnerships, and a mission-driven focus on helping abused and neglected children. The role requires strategic planning, fundraising leadership, and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The Executive Director will manage operations, ensure financial objectives are met, and represent the center in the community while advancing

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of executive management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience in fundraising, financial management, and personnel management.
• Understanding of trauma work and experience with trauma survivors.
• Proven ability to build partnerships and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational strategy, program development, and long-range planning.
• Oversee fundraising, grants, and major donor relationships.
• Ensure accreditation standards are met and reporting to the board.
• Represent the center in the community and build partnerships.
• Manage staff wellbeing and succession planning.
