Job summary

Project Response, Inc. seeks an experienced Executive Director to oversee the organization’s administration, daily operations, and strategic direction in Melbourne, Florida.

You will shepherd clinical and community services, ensure sustainable finances, and lead an engaged executive team alongside the Board of Directors. The role requires nonprofit leadership experience, governance acumen, fundraising success, and a deep commitment to dignity, access and quality of care for a vulnerable

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading nonprofit or corporate organizations or programs, including working with a board of directors.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring and retaining mission-driven teams.
• Grant writing, monitoring, compliance and reporting experience.
• Fundraising and management of fund distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the agency’s mission, strategy, culture, executive team, financial sustainability, community impact, external relationships, and overall performance.
• Lead the executive team and collaborate with the Board to translate charitable purpose into strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee financial operations and annual operating budget; ensure compliance with duties, obligations and reporting.
• Manage relations with donors, decision makers, agencies, and partner organizations.
