Job summary

Scion Executive Search has been engaged to identify an Executive Director for a mission-driven nonprofit delivering health and social services to underserved communities. The leader will guide strategy, ensure high-quality services, and sustain organizational impact.

The role requires compassionate, visionary, and strategic direction, with responsibility for financial stewardship, program growth, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting.
• Experience guiding strategic planning, governance, and program growth.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Skilled in cultivating funders, donors, and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to lead diverse teams with an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and organizational vision
• Oversee healthcare, behavioral health, prevention, and community services
• Strengthen fundraising, grant development, and resource diversification
• Partner with Board and senior leadership to advance mission and priorities
• Represent the organization with stakeholders and funders in advocacy and external affairs
