Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Executive Director of AI Engineering and EHR Systems to lead enterprise AI initiatives across clinical, operational, and IT functions. You will shape strategy, oversee AI platforms, data pipelines, and Epic EHR integrations, and guide architecture and governance.

Qualifications

15+ years related work experience required and 8 to 10 years supervisory/management experience.
Proven experience leading enterprise AI strategy, deployment, and operations.
Experience with Epic EHR backend systems and HealthConnect integration.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of enterprise AI platforms.
Establish scalable AI infrastructure, APIs, and reusable services.
Define AI engineering standards, architectural guidelines, and governance.
Manage production incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Overlap with clinical workflows and enterprise data platforms; ensure secure, compliant AI.
