Job summary

CSCI Consulting, Inc. seeks an Executive Director of Staffing Solutions to drive growth across state government and local markets, focusing on staff augmentation, MSP programs, and project-based staffing opportunities.

You will lead Staffing Solutions, oversee recruiting, delivery, and operations, and collaborate with leadership on growth plans, customer expansion, and strategic partnerships. This role requires extensive government staffing experience and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of business development, sales, account management, staffing, or government contracting experience.
• 10+ years providing state and local government clients with staffing support.
• Strong experience with staff augmentation, professional services, MSP programs, and government procurement processes.
• Demonstrated success identifying and closing new staffing opportunities.
• Proven experience in developing a staff augmentation business infrastructure, process and growth strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to support client and business development activities.
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving.
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maturation of the Staffing Solutions practice with infrastructure, processes, tools, and delivery framework for scalable growth.
• Establish and manage recruiting, account management, onboarding, consultant care, and workforce planning functions.
• Ensure consistent execution of recruiting, placement, onboarding, retention, and consultant engagement activities.
• Oversee recruiting team performance, hiring metrics, candidate experience, and time-to-fill objectives.
• Serve as executive escalation point for client delivery issues and workforce challenges.
• Ensure successful transition from opportunity identification through candidate placement and ongoing account support.
• Identify opportunities to expand into managed teams, statement-of-work projects, and workforce solutions.
• Evaluate new markets, service offerings, contract vehicles, and strategic partnerships for growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to set annual growth plans and objectives.
• Establish early awareness of staffing opportunities and coordinate recruiting for rapid staffing response.
• Meet with consultants, agency stakeholders, project managers, and client leadership to understand needs.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and account penetration plans for priority accounts.
• Serve as executive with deep MSP and government procurement expertise.
• Support capture planning, proposal development, pricing discussions, and client presentations.
• Represent CSCI at industry associations and government-focused organizations.
• Build visibility within state and local government contracting community.
• Develop relationships with industry leaders and teaming partners.
• Contribute to CRM management, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
