Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Prior healthcare leadership experience required.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance, team leadership, census development, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 24-hour operations of the facility.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability to department directors and management staff.
• Promote a culture focused on resident-centered care, quality outcomes, and employee engagement.
• Ensure exceptional customer service for residents, families, visitors, and referral partners.
• Manage facility budgets and financial performance; optimize resources, staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Drive census growth and maintain strong occupancy performance; monitor operational metrics for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; lead survey preparedness.
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts and implement improvements.
• Coordinate safety, infection prevention, life safety and emergency preparedness programs.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing leaders and team members.
