Job summary

The Culinary Education Center seeks an Executive Director to guide mission, strategy, and operations in New York/New Jersey. Collaborate with the Board to shape programming and external relationships, advancing workforce development for hospitality workers.

The role leads organizational leadership, budget management, and partnerships with Taft-Hartley funds and UNITE HERE Local 100, driving impact and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in organizational leadership in workforce development, unions, or related fields.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and program development skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and oversee staff, finances, and programs.
• Set strategic vision with the Board and ensure sustainable growth.
• Foster partnerships with employers, unions, and government entities.
• Represent the organization publicly and manage communications.
